Media Blasting / Powder Coating

All Media Blasting is done in our own facility. "Media blasting" is the process in which "media" and/or a blend of sand particles commonly mixed with glass beads or salt are shot onto the product to remove things like preexisting paint or rust. Media blasting can also be used to clean various surfaces. Chemical stripping is also available for more delicate jobs.

Powder coating is a process where powder based paints (epoxy, polyester, hybrid acrylic or polyurethane based) are electro-statically applied at temperatures ranging between 375 - 450 degrees depending on the metal itself.
